Personal Story: I wrote this song during my separation with my ex-husband. At the time, we were still amicable and he came over a lot. He was cooking dinner and I was playing the piano. It almost seemed like we were still married. I played this song for him. For me, this is when I knew it was the end.

We have all experienced heartache at some point in life. This pop music song has influences of Salsa and Mexican Folk music and is about letting go of someone who has already gone on.

Personal Story: When I wrote this song I was grieving a ten year marriage. By the time I got in the studio to record the vocals, we decided to change the adlibs to reflect my current feeling of having started to go on. That is why the song begins sad and ends with me letting go.
